Suffering with Jesus

The Word says,"If we suffer with Him, we will reign with Him." 2 Tim. 2:12.
What is it that we will suffer? Do we suffer from sickness and disease? I think not, we sufer from persecution as our Lord Jesus Christ did. That suffering brings us to the place of reigning with Christ. Sickness and disease is an attack from the deceiver. John 10:10
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Jesus uses the Word thief, a robber one who takes things that are meant for good and leaves only that which no good.
Only Jesus can bring good into our life. The second part of John 10:10 says. "but I" these Words are game changers, reigning words in the last half of this verse. "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."
Suffering with Christ in this life we reign with Him in His Kingdom.

Stay away from anger and revenge. Keep envy far from you, for it only leads you into lies. Psalm 37:8 Passion Boy does this speak to me. He was at meltdown point. The talking was not enough it was only getting worse. All balance and lucidity flushed away; he yelled like a toddler,  screaming out loud. But it is to no avail. It only last for seconds. Obscenities,  fears, overreaction all burst forth with no logical reason. It is no fun when your brain becomes unbalanced or over loaded. We misplace our sensibilities,  and rational thinking goes out the window. This is where God has given us the Holy Spirit to be with us, and to aid us in self-control and patience. Amen

Receptive

“If you tenderly care for this little childx on my behalf, you are tenderly caring for me. And if you care for me, you are honoring my Father who sent me. The one who is least important in your eyes is actually the most important one of all.”  Luke 9:48 Passion Jesus was open to meeting with anyone. The poor, the oppressed,  the broken and turned away. But especially He was receptive to children. God restores, those who are responsive to His openness receive everything He promises.  When we realize our true place before a righteous and holy God, there is a longing to receive mercy and forgiveness. Only then can He become the high priestly sacrifice that we all need. Amen

Intimacy

For love is supreme and must flow through each of these virtues. Love become the mark of maturity.  Colossians 3:14 Passion  God is our healer. He wants us to be close to Him. His desire is that our hearts be closely familiar with His. His specialty is ultimate intimacy, He so loves us and knows our very beings. Amen
