Compelling

2 Corinthians 5:14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died;

2 Corinthians 5:15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

Paul gives us and example of a person that pushes us. Not in a bad way in a good way. Have you ever had a friend that pushed you into a situation only to back out and leave you hanging? The disciples dropped  everything they were doing to follow Him. Have you ever thought about this? Their livelihoods, their businesses and yes some cases their families. We are willing to drop everything for Jesus even to the point of taking a bullet so to speak.  Not because He compels us to do this, but because of what He has done for us. Amen
